2012 Trade Show Wrap Up

The SWWA tradeshow at the annual November conference, once again, turned out to be a success. The 2012 event saw 104 supplier booths set up at TCU Place in place of the usual 100. The suppliers were well represented by familiar companies and new faces alike, and judging by the steady flow of traffic throughout the show, most of the delegates had made an appearance at some point during the two-day event.

Wednesday evening was capped off by the “Watering Hole Ice Breaker,” where plenty of food and refreshments were supplied to all attendees.

As an unexpected bonus, keynote speaker Michael Clemons found time in his schedule to attend the tradeshow late Wednesday and on Thursday morning. The atmosphere was extremely positive throughout the show and feedback from suppliers was that the Saskatchewan show remains one of the best in western Canada.

SWWA drew for several prizes over the course of the conference. Delegates were entered into the draw barrels for filling out questionnaires, completing supplier of the year ballots, or simply showing up for a meal!

Bryan Redekop and Cory McMahon were each winners of a $100 gift card from Cabelas, Ronald Stechyshyn from Yorkton won a $100 gift card from Rona, Dennis Frey took home a $250 gift certificate from Golftown, and two Apple iPads were handed out to Darrell Brown and Rod Lemon. Congratulations to all of our winners.
