I’m Rynette Moore-Guillaume and I have been a Director with the SWWA board since 2004.
I’m employed at SaskWater as the Manager of Special Services in Operations and Engineering. Prior to SaskWater, I worked with City of Moose Jaw managing Water and Wastewater, Sanitation and Streets and Roads.
I have also taught certification classes at SIAST for the Water and Wastewater extension program since 2002.
I am certified both as a Level 4 Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection Operator. I will be graduating this fall with my Masters in Business Leadership. My education also includes a degree in Environmental Engineering and a Civil Engineering Diploma.
I’ve volunteered for many different water projects – including drilling a water-well in Guatemala, putting in two water systems in Costa Rica and helping with Hurricane Rita for three weeks doing damage assessment. These opportunities have been a huge eye opener of how fortunate we are in Saskatchewan.
I have thoroughly enjoyed being on the SWWA board. It has given me great opportunities of meeting operators and suppliers within the Water and Wastewater field. I’m interested in any feedback or suggestions you may have on how to make our organization even stronger as we continue to grow.
Thank you for your support over the last six years.
