My name is Tim Cox and I have worked for the City of Swift Current for 16 years. I began with an 18 month stint as a Water Treatment Plant Operator, but most of my career has been in the collection system. I spent 11 years operating and maintaining the city’s 13 lift stations before moving into my current position as Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent. I currently hold a level 3 WW Treatment certification.

Working in the water-wastewater industry has given me an appreciation how important our members are to their communities. I am extremely proud of both my treatment facility and my community and I hope to represent Swift Current well on the SWWA board. As it is my first term acting on the SWWA board, I look forward to learning new things from experienced members and contributing my own ideas as well.
