Lagoon Operation and Maintenance

This one-day workshop is designed for operators whose community or employer treats wastewater with a lagoon system. The workshop will provide an overview of the following:
- Basic principles of lagoon chemistry and microbiology.
- Wastewater treatment.
- Lagoon design and construction.
- Effluent discharge guidelines.
- Lagoon operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

We encourage everyone to register early so that your participation in the work shop can be confirmed. Contact the SWWA Office if you have missed the registration deadline and would like to participate in the work shop. We will try to accommodate your request.

In order to confirm Work Shop Registration and payment, a completed registration form must be submitted to the SWWA Office using the online method or by downloading the registration form and mailing the form and payment to the SWWA Office.

Registrations sent by fax will not be accepted.
Registrations sent by email will be accepted but will not be confirmed until a completed copy of
the registrations has been sent/received through regular postal service.

Cancellation Policy:
Refunds for SWWA Work shops will be granted with two (2) weeks’
notice of the scheduled event. In the case of an emergency please
contact the SWWA office immediately if unable to attend.
