Proper Sampling Techniques

We encourage everyone to register early so that your participation in the work shop can be confirmed. Contact the SWWA Office if you have missed the registration deadline and would like to participate in the work shop. We will try to accommodate your request.
The focus of the Sampling and Analysis workshop is to explore the parameters that water samples are being tested for including chemical and biological. Proper sampling technique, storage and transport will be discussed. There will be a hands on portion covering the proper use of hand held equipment and the calibration of these devices. The latter part of the day will cover the assembly of a field kit, choosing suitable sample sites in the distribution system and legal responsibilities of the operator.
