Safe Return to the Classroom

The SWWA would like to thank you for your continued patience as we’ve navigated the postponement of classroom training. In response to COVID-19, maintaining the health and safety of operators has been and will continue to be most important.

We have been working hard with our hotels and instructors to develop preventative measures that will keep operators safe and comply with the latest government regulations.

The following safety measures will be in place for fall 2020 classroom training. The Association will continue to update these measures as additional information becomes available.

-All 2020 fall training will take place with 50% capacity and in compliance with provincial guidelines.

-Only one student will be permitted to sit per table.

-Reduced sharing of common items.

-Course evaluations and completion certificates will be e-mailed following successful course completion.

Hand Sanitizer Provided for Students

Hand Sanitizer Provided for those attending to use

-To encourage regular hand-washing, each student will be encouraged to use hand sanitizer provided.


Masks are not mandatory

If you are unwell or showing any signs or symptoms, please do NOT attend training sessions.  Registrants can contact the office for rescheduling options.
