To renew or purchase a membership, follow one of the steps below:
- New Membership - Register a profile (new users only)
- Renew Your Membership - Login to your profile
Your annual membership fee has great value because it helps support operator education, training, networking opportunities and ongoing promotion of the water and wastewater industry.
Memberships are non transferrable - profiles cannot be shared
* The Members email NEEDS to be the main email - if not they will not receive the links for webinars or other information for events they are attending.
* The billing email can be used numerous times in the billing email line in the membership
* Receipts are sent by email as are all certificates for workshops/webinars held during the year - This does not apply to conference
*Didn't get your receipt? Have you added SWWA as a safe sender and a contact in your email? Check your junk mail or spam if you have not or if you do not receive your receipt after your online purchase.
A regular membership is in the name of the individual not the employer. A supplier membership must be purchased for each rep who would like to attend SWWA events such as golf at a reduced rate. For Companies purchasing a trade show booth for the annual show no membership is required.
Moving forward starting January 1, 2021 all memberships will be up for renewal the following year on the anniversary of the membership purchase date. So a membership purchased on Feb. 14, 2021 would be due for renewal Feb. 14, 2022
In order to be eligible for awards given out by the SWWA you must be a member in good standing.
Only regular members are allowed to vote at the annual AGM held at the conference.
- A reduced rate on all SWWA functions (workshops, golf tournaments and annual conference).
- SWWA members have access to a wide networking range that includes other affiliates in the neighbouring provinces of Manitoba and Alberta along with Western Canada Water; this is especially useful for feedback on concerns, issues and possible solutions that others may be dealing with as well as support for those in the situations looking for answers.
- Current SWWA members can attend the annual conference as delegates at a special delegate rate- the non-member rate is significantly higher.
- All members will also receive the Western Canada Water magazine that is released four times per year and all members receive reduced rate on WCW events/training.
- As long as a member is logged in to their profile to register for training and conference all CEUs earned from workshops will be tracked and starting 2022 attendance at the annual conference is also tracked and if a CEU needs to be reissued a certificate will be sent to you to fill out just like at the annual conference, gold sticker attached.
Supplier memberships are for those who supply products and services for the members of the SWWA. Supplier memberships are like regular memberships in the name of the person not the company.
